Miami came awfully close last year. Houston made a big run at imperfection a few years ago. How about the Lion and Bengals?
Both have lost the starting QB, are lacking play makers on offense (Housh and Calvin Johnson excluded) and both have awful defenses. It would be interesting to see from a historical perspective (hasn't happen since the 76 Bucs went 0-14) but no one has ever lost 16 in a season.
Every year there's one team that looks like it could go 0-16 and every year they win a game or two. Just because there are more this year doesn't mean it's going to happen.
Kudos to Leber for the amazing sig and to Metroid for the userbar and making them both fit 2008 and 2009 Defunct Dynasty League Champion

I know that's been the case, but..... have you seen Detroit play? Flat out awful.

First half they were alright today. No penalties and the defense held. They'll put together 4 quarters of that sometime and eek out a win somewhere.
Weird thing is I thought Cincy were gonna win in Dallas as that game went on
Other weeks theyve looked absolute dire; then again same can be said for Chiefs and Rams amongst others here and there. Difference being, all bar Lions and Bengals have a win on the board.
I just dont see WHO the Lions are gonna beat when looking at their remaining schedule i know that something always pops up unexpectedly, but boy i cant it right now.
Kudos to the uberdesigner 'soty' for the sig!

It always looks like one team won't win a game at this point, these are still NFL players and any given sunday anybody can win...Detroit will sneak one or 2 wins out of there they have no business winning, it will be a division game ie Chicago most likely.

That's how bad it is in Detroit. That of they win a game it will be one they have no business winning. The Lions are the worst team in the history of the league and they have a tough schedule. When you look at the Vikings as the most winnable game left on your schedule, you can see you have a shot. Cincy has Houston, Cleveland and the Chiefs left to play. The Lions have no paties. The Lions will threaten the 'any given Sunday' creedo of the NFL. Somewhere Jim Rome is salivating at a real serious contender.

Here is a stat to brighten your day Mooch. The Lions have had a 15 game stretch where they have gone 1-14 ---- 3 TIMES......this century (you know the one that started 8 years ago).
Sun, Nov 2 @ Chicago Sun, Nov 9 Jacksonville Sun, Nov 16 @ Carolina Sun, Nov 23 Tampa Bay Thu, Nov 27 Tennessee Sun, Dec 7 Minnesota Sun, Dec 14 @ Indianapolis Sun, Dec 21 New Orleans Sun, Dec 28 @ Green Bay
I'd like to think that we'll win one somewhere in this stretch, and we may, but all of these teams are clearly a level or five above the Lions. Distinct possiblity for that winless year....
PS: That 1-15 figure is pretty sick! Even I didn't realize we had three of those :(
