Utah beat Michigan by 2. PSU beat Michigan by 29.

Also, if you are going to argue that the big 10 is down, which is a very valid argument, lets look at what Penn St. has done out of conference.

Against Oregon St.: Penn St. wins by 31
Against Syracuse: Penn St. wins by 42

Syracuse? Really? They should beat them by that, they are possibly the worst team in Div I football.

Great they beat one team by a lot that is good.

Here is the thing --

If PSU goes undefeated they will be in the NC game, so if you are a PSU fan then root for them to win out. They will be there if they win out so don't get upset by our informal cafe poll because it has no bearing on their real season. If they get there and win, then I will eat my words. IMO, if they make it to the NC game against any one of the following: Texas Tech, OK, Tex, Florida, Bama, they will get smoked. Those are all better teams IMO.

Also, look at what Penn St. has done more closely. They've been blowing big 10 teams out. If they had been winning by a field goal or a touchdown each game, that's one thing, but with the exception of the Ohio St. game, they've been winning comfortably.

They're coaches. Their votes shouldn't even count. I guarantee that I watched more football yesterday than every coach who's team didn't have a bye. And I was at the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.

I agree with Texas. They lost at the end of the game, with 0:01, on the road to a top 5 team. USC lost on the road also but to a top 50 team. Texas has beaten 2 top 10 teams. USC hasn't beaten 2 top 25 teams! Florida on the other hand, deserves to be there.

Florida, Texas and Oklahoma are WAY ahead of USC. I don't see any way that USC could catch any of those teams unless they lose. The BCS looks pretty good to me, people always say that the computer polls work better as they get more data.

Well, thank God for the Harris Poll voters! They have to be main reason the ship is righted since the CPUs are given the lowest ability to affect the rankings of the 3 components.

Texas is a good team and I actually am going to have them higher than I thought. They deserve to be in front of teams like USC
