Is this trade vetoable?

12 Team Dynasty League
Team A is out of the playoffs and has begun rebuilding for next year.
Team B is one game out of the playoffs at this time.

There is no collusion and the owners don't know each other outside the league.

Team A offered this trade to Team B who accepted it.

Team A gives LT
and
Team B gives Kevin Smith and their 2009 1st round draft choice.

The other owners who are competing with Team B for the last playoff spot are grumbling about vetoing the trade and one of them has already done so. 5 vetos are required to kill a trade.

Is this trade vetoable?

Agreed.

That's the reason why "league votes" on trades almost always lead to problems. None of my leagues do that. They all have the commish and/or co-commish decide pass/veto. We NEVER have anyone trying to cheat so we NEVER have any trades vetoed....no matter how lopsided they might look to someone on paper. And like Dan said, this is dynasty. LT2 is approaching 30 which is almost always the beginning of the end for RB's. The other guy who is rebuilding is getting Kevin Smith who might be the Lions RB heading into the future. Plus he gets an extra 1st rounder in '09 which will help speed up the rebuilding process if he drafts well.
