Rivals 5 to watch

It's going to be hard for any game Saturday to top the wild finish in last week's game between Texas Tech and Texas.

In one of the late games Saturday, Texas Tech will be the favorite when it plays host to Oklahoma State, which suffered its only loss this season by four points at Texas. Expect another shootout from the Big 12 South foes.

In the SEC, Alabama will have to put emotions aside and attempt to ignore a vicious LSU crowd in Nick Saban's return to Baton Rouge.

In the Big Ten, Penn State – leapfrogged by Texas Tech in the BCS standings – makes its last road trip of the season, to Iowa.

And in the Pac-10 and ACC, there are key matchups between league contenders.

Florida plays Vandy at 8 pm as well. When you look at the teams you would think UF should blow them out, but Vandy always plays Florida tough, especially at Vandy. Florida has only won by an average of 9 points in the last 3 at Vandy.

Watch out for Iowa. I'm not calling an upset, but I certainly wouldn't be shocked if one took place.

edit -- I just looked and it seems we are getting Mary/VT as the Thurs night ESPN game

I guess I will have to get to the college game channels I have to watch it. This is going to be a better game than Mary/VT IMO.

I don't think that it will be much of a game, personally. Although homefield advantage will play a big part in that one.
