A dipsh*t owner in my league is in last place and pretty much gave up on the season. I just checked the starting lineups of all owners and dude has Pittman starting at RB. Obviously he out for the season. With less than 2 hours til kickoff, do I call this other owner and tell him to insert LT into his lineup? He is playing the owner that is in first place and he doesn't need any breaks like this. I don't want to tick anyone off but comeon!

call him and make sure everything is ok , if he says he is checking it in for the year remove him from leauge.

I usually email a manager just to be fair if I see a player inactive, I've done it when it was the person against me, and when it was the situation described above, at this late time your best bet is to have the
commish call this guy and have him adjust his lineup to field a full team, or do it for the guy if he can't get access

Well I called the owner, got his v/m and left a message. He never changed his lineup, he left fricking LT on the bench and he's up against KC of all teams this week!!! WTF, I can't play in a league like this, what a bunch of crap.

That is rough, but I don't think you can do anything about it this week. The guy could have easily forgotten for any number of reasons. If he is mailing it in, and you can't get ahold of him all of next week, then I think you are within your bounds to do something as a league, but as far as this week there is nothing you can really do. Just hope the outcome is convincing one way or another so it isnt an issue?

It would have been a lot easier to swallow if he didn't have LT up against the Chiefs this week. I don't need to explain to anyone how awful KC is against the run. I could see LT going for 140 yards and 2 TD's. Oh well.

I think I agree here, in principle, but I am struggling with how you should handle the situation since the game was three days earlier than the rest of the slated games and he might be a bonehead who forgot to change his lineup on time...

Assuming a team with a losing record is tanking is no different than thinking every winning team is attempting collusion every time they make a trade that benefits them, and I think we have to guard against the tendencies to think this way. Just my 2 cents - I sincerely hope it helps though
