Keeping someone else from getting a QB

On Wed, "PB" picks up QBs Flacco and Hill. Thursday, he picks up QB Ferotte. Friday, he picks up QBs Thigpen, Wallace, and Grossman, and releases Garcia, Ferotte, Bulger, and Flacco. The released players won't clear waivers until Monday.

For the new discussion going on... see the above quote form the original post. He is roster churning, not utilizing his bench. I think it is extreme to go to that level for a win if you drop 7 players to keep a QB away but it is not illegal, unethical yes, but not illegal. BUT, that is not the case here, dude Picked up 3 Qb, drops 4 and picks up another 4. Roster churning.

Again, imo, force the commish to make it right.

As Dupree stated it is called roster churning and is SEVERELY FROWNED upon in FF. Call the guy on it. Your commish should be able to overturn the waiver process and make all the QB's currently on waivers available to the guy getting screwed.

To me it does not matter if it is an existing rule in your league, it is a general rule in FF that you do not do this.

One way to keep people from doing that is to make a maximum transactions limit per year. Set it to about 30-40, and people won't use them all up for churning.

In our league, everyone becomes a FA on Sunday until game time. So even if I drop a player Sunday morning, someone else can grab him and use him that day. As long as they pick him up before 1:00 EST. Pros and cons to this, but it keeps people from holding on to guys until the last minute just to keep opponents from getting at them.
