I consider injury as bad news. I would like to quote a few lines from Godfather.

In the movie 'The Godfather', there's a scene in it where
Robert Duval (Tom) is given some news that Marlon Brando
(Godfather) isn't going to like at all. Terrible news. So
as soon as he can walk out the door, he does... to go break
the bad news.

The guy who told Tom the bad news wants to know what's the
hurry. Tom says that Godfather likes to hear bad news
right away.

Why does he want to hear the bad as soon as possible?

The same reason you should.

So you can do something about it as soon as humanly
possible.

Oftentimes, mistakes and bad outcomes can be fixed, but
only if we act FAST.

In my business career, when there is a problem with a big
customer, I want to know about it as fast as possible.

So I could worry longer?

No, so I could jump in my car and visit or pick up the
phone within seconds. Not minutes. Seconds.

I think it works it works pretty much similar in fantasy football. Got to pick up backups, hit the waiver wire, weigh the options.
Specially when you are in a money league.

Ok, I jumped the gun on the Raiders game. However I'm sure you can understand how inunndated this board becomes Sunday after Sunday with people's "self-serving" posts

self serving, probably BUT most people are here to receive information and in exchange hopefully they will give it also. True some are not as giving as others like yourself but that probably just means they don't have as much information to give. You give what you can/when you can.

If "Guest" can't ask a simple question, what's the point of this forum. At least in my league, almost everyone watches football on Sunday's and picks up players as injuries occur. We need info ASAP. And it's funny how the examples you gave are all WRs. There's a difference between a WR not getting a catch and a RB not getting 10 straight carries to other backup RBs.

If Chester Taylor ran the ball 10 straight times with Jamal Lewis getting none, does that warrant a question football gurus?
