Who needs a Monday Night Miracle??

Postby LS2throwed » Mon Nov 10, 2008 1:00 pm

I do :-o

I'm down 12 in my main PPR league which is a huge battle this week, I'm facing the 1st place team sitting in 3rd and I can be in a good spot to get a bye week if I win this game as I'm leading the league in pts...Down 12 with Fitzgerald and Rackers, facing Warner, and yes I know my chances suck thus the "miracle" I will need.

It's possible certainly, but if Warner throws a few TD's to Boldin it's not gonna be close....I'm also behind 15 with Morgan to play in another league but I'm not holding my breath for that to happen.

It would be a true, walking-on-water type miracle, but I'm down 107 points (starting Delhomme, Braylon, Lee Evans, Daniels and Bironas seemed smart) with Gore, Hightower, Boldin and the AZ defense. There's no PPR, so I'm hoping for 10 tds and 400 yards between Gore, Hightower and Boldin with AZ not going into negatives despite that fact that I need a serious shootout.

And I'm playing the guy with whom I'm tied for the wild card. Looks like he's going to have a game on me and the tiebreaker while I'm drifting back to the pack.

Down 68pts in a 0.5PPR league w/ Hightower, Fitzgerald and Rackers left to go tonight.

It's "possible" but not likely, though I'm holding out hope. We get 3pt bonus for 100 yrds, so I need:

Hightower - 100 yrds rushing + 4 rec + 40 yrds rec. + 2 TD = 31 pts.
Fitz - 8 rec + 120 yrds + TD = 25 pts
Rackers = 3 xtra points + 3 FG's (one of at least 40+ yrds) = 13 pts

That would be 69 pts.

If I lose this week, I'll drop to 0-4 in my last 4 games and 5-5 on the season. Something's wrong w/ my team...

I need 21 pts from Rackers tonight. Rather than bet on it, I will take the money and buy some beer to cry in. Thanks Chambers for not playing..oh wait, he played. I remember seeing him picking up the receivers who caught TD passes. And Steve Smith? What was that?
Couldn't you have dressed in Raider black and pick off a couple Dehomme passes?

Sorry, off track. C'mon Rackers. Just need 4 50-yard FGs and a PAT and I am money. ;-D

I need the Cardinals to complete destroy San Fran's offense (he has Gore and Nedney), and a reasonably good night from Boldin (over 100 yards and a TD preferably). ;-D

All I need is one TD from Warner to stay in 2nd place in my league.

I'm down 57.96 w/ Fitz and Warner to go.

I figure I need Warner to throw for 375 and 3 TD's and Fitz to be the recipent of at least 150 of those yards and 2 of those TD's for me to pull out a miracle come from behind victory tonight to remain points leader & stay in first. (25 yards/1 PT passing, 10 yards/1 PT rushing/receiving, 4 PTS pass TD, 6 PTS rush/rec TD, 2 bonus points at 350 yards passing, 2 bonus points 150 yards rushing/receiving)

2 pretty huge games, but SF sucks, Zona is pretty damn good, and both the guys I've got going tonight can put up those kind of numbers.

I'm just hoping SF keeps it somewhat close (in a shoot out) so the Cards don't throttle down in the 2nd 1/2.

If I lose tonight, bye-bye 1st place & the points lead - all the way to 3rd...

Come on Monday Night Miracle.
