I smell a...SHOOTOUT! ;-D

I sure hope so!! It's tough to sit LT for a rookie number 2 WR, but I think it makes sense this week.

Yes, this week in the USA Today fantasy report, Marshall and Royal are the #11/#12 WRs overall so far, respectively. Only 2.0 pts separate them in a non PPR league. I'm glad I grabbed Royal in two leagues, and avoided Marshall when he was being drafted in the 3-4 rounds.

Would you guys dare start Marshall this week against Asumugha??? I think Royal has a better week but it's a tough call cause the Raiders secondary is pretty good now.

Asomugha ligns up only at RCB and will primarily see Marshall on that side of the field. Marshall recently said that the Broncos just plan on playing ball and not avoiding Asomugha that often. With that said, they move Marshall all over the place anyways so he wont be matched up with Asomugha all game. One other important factor to note is that Asomugha is a fantastic COVER corner but he is not one of the best tackling CBs in the league meaning that he could have his hands full against the best YAC WR in the NFL. Asomugha whiffed on a tackle last week on Tedd Ginn and Ginn ended up taking it to the house.

I'm playing royal over Marshall. Hoping for another week 1 performance.

Don't forget, Royal himself saw a lot of coverage against Asomugha Week 1 when Marshall was suspended. Royal had 9 catches, 146 yds, and a TD. I'd be confident starting either of them.

I seem to recall that most of royal's damage was done on the right side against hall. I don't remember any big plays by royal on the left against aso. I could be wrong but that's what I remember.

Would you guys rank him as a solid #2 this week, it was between him Bowe and Ward...Ward failed me...I think I have to stick with Bowe tho..

Royal is better in leagues that have Return Yardage as a category. He's their return man, he's a top WR fantasy wise and is getting better every day. It's like Cutler has his Welker/Moss thing over there.
