i am new to this forum stuff. i am very interested and plan on using this site more to help in my fantasy decisions. i would like to offer and receive advice on an educated basis. could some one please tell what a ppr leaugue is and also what is (WHIR). i think i also seen the phrase (WHIP)

As far as your question

PPR - Points per reception, indicates leagues in which players get points for a reception
WHIR - Mean Will Help in Return - If you help them they will help you

I doubt you would have seen WHIP here, other than a typo. If you were over at the baseball cafe, it is referring to the commonly used baseballs stat and stands for the ratio or walks + hits to innings pitched.
