Wow, REALLY unlucky break for OSU. They get it to within 23-19, on 3rd and 10 for OU they force an incompletion, but the ball bounces out and hits Gresham downfield in stride for a 70 yard TD.
Man Okie State. So close so many times but they just can't capitalize. All these plays that look like they're going to be a disaster for OU end up being a positive play.
On that drive alone they had a 3rd down where brown got hit twice short of the 1st down and stayed up. Then they had a 3rd and goal and Bradford looked like he was going to get sacked back at the 20, but he stiff-armed the defender and got away and ran down to the 1, where he fumbled but luckily it went out of bounds before it went into the endzone. Then on 4th and goal from the 1 they fumbled the snap, but picked it up and fell forward into the endzone for the TD.
How many times can OU throw that seam route before some Big 12 coordinator finally decides it might be a good thing to cover? I sear 60% of their passing yards come on that one route and still no one ever bothers to even try and cover it.
