are you sure this is a done deal, what about an appeal. Why didnt they get suspended a month ago when they found out. I see nothing on espn or updates on here

NFL suspended Deuce McAllister, Saints DE Charles Grant, Saints DE Will Smith, Vikings DT Kevin Williams, Vikings DT Pat Williams, and Texans LS Brian Pittman for the final four games of the regular season for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Good thing Deuce already set the franchise record for scores because his NFL career may sadly be over. From a fantasy standpoint, the news mostly effects opposing rushers of Minnesota. Minnesota faces Kevin Smith, Joseph Addai, and the New Orleans tandem of Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush the next three weeks. Hugely upgrade their matchups.

I think peeps are overestimating the impact for fantasy in regards to the Vikings fantasy DST, they will still be productive, these guys are tackles and don't force a lot of turnovers. The potential loss of the Williams bros.goes from a match up avoid for opposing fantasy running backs, to one while you might not neccesarily look to exploit, you aren't worried about starting your RBs against them now

concerning the actual football, I think it would be better to the Vikes playoff hopes if the Williams did serve the suspension now and came back fresh for the playoffs, their goal filing the injunction is probably just to get paid their gamechecks, I think it's debateable whether they can win the division without any depth up front on defense, but with Green Bay and Chicago not stepping up to the challenge maybe the Vikes can win by default

FWIW the lawyer from TruTV/CourtTV was on Mike & Mike this morning and said it's highly unlikely the players will be awarded the injunction.

those 2 could also rush the qb, and perhaps calvin johnson could have a good game since they give up alot of passes and allen will be double teamed

NFL Network is reporting that a MN judge gave them a temporary restraining order so they can return to practice tomorrow and play against DET.
