Annual Christmas Day Sig Contest 2008

It's that time again for our annual Cafe Christmas sig contest. Each year artists at the cafe enter their sigs as a fun way to show the holiday spirit while at the same time having a little friendly competition. Don't worry if you feel like your skills aren't good enough to enter, as these competitions are mostly composed of some fun and funny sigs, and is more based on that and seasonal celebration than pure technique and design.

Note that there are a few additions/changes to the rules for this Christmas contest:

- this will only be a cafe class tourney and not open class, so keep the sigs under 12KBs
- you may only enter 1 sig since there is only one class in this tourney.
- sig must include a seasonal holiday theme
- the Christmas voting poll will run 7 days
- any members caught using multiple accounts to vote will be disqualified

Sig entries should be PM'd to me directly, and are due by 6:00 PM PST on Sunday, December 14th. Voting will start on Wednesday, December 17th.

there are going to start being contests for all the cafes in the near future. there are kind of a lot of transitions going on in the cafe right now and im just learning the ropes... but one of my top agendas are getting more contests up. menyak laid out contest dates here in the football cafe, but i didnt see any in the other cafes. sig contests (the themed ones) are generally based around that sports season...so it might be weird doing a christmas baseball sig .

i know man...we have had a real lack of partcipation in these...but there are some moves being made to get more interest in the future.

Arghh.... I can never find the time to make a sig for this contest!!! Maybe next year...

Yeah I just failed to get one done...I have the next 2 days off work and as you know Luxe it's crappy out there here in P-Town....sooooo if you wanted to push the deadline back a day or two I could probably scrape something together.
