Kevin Johnson cut by the Browns

Eagles have some cap room and I think he would be a good fit there, he is a all hands possession reciever and would be a good fit in Philly. He might be a good fit in SF next year after TO leaves. Tai as the speedier WR as #1 and KJ as #2. just a thought

I'd say Andre Davis.

Any team claiming him off waivers will be responsible for a $2 million dollar bonus due in 2005. If he clears waivers (which he will) he becomes a free agent and can sign with any team.

He'll go to Philly and suck.

From philadelphiaeagles.com:

"I know you're all going crazy wondering if the Eagles are interesting in wide receiver Kevin Johnson, who was waived by the Browns on Tuesday. I asked the Eagles for an official reply and was told the team had no comment. I'm sure Reid will be asked about it on Wednesday. Tune in to Eagles Live! at 1 p.m. and hear what he has to say about the situation."

Sorry Eagle fans, but I'm pretty sure that Detroit has waiver priority over Philly. I heard nothing about that signing bonus. On the radio this morning they said a team picking him up would only have to cover $390,000 for the rest of this year. If he was signed beyond that point, that's when the signing bonus would count against your cap.

Waiver priority? This isn't Yahoo fantasy football.
