Good sportswriting

Postby Matthias » Fri Dec 05, 2008 3:58 pm

Just read the best line I've read in a long while in a sports column.

Daunte Culpepper and the Detroit Lions were a good fit, which is to say both were bad off when they joined limited forces on Nov. 4.

Anyone else have any favorites?

rotoworld today:
Dwayne Bowe is likely to draw Dre Bly in coverage Sunday.
Score! With Champ Bailey likely out, the most overrated cornerback in football draws Bowe. Tony Gonzalez, Bowe, and Tyler Thigpen are all good plays against a weak Denver defense.

I really just like the "Score" part. It made me both chuckle, and move D. Bowe to my flex spot as MBIII hit the bench.
