Alabama is winning the trenches right now. Plain and Simple. The Gators got burnt by Jones and they backed off. Strong needs to move JJ over to cover JJ and use the others to stop the run. Jenkins can shut Jones down.

I know Nick Saban's forgotten more about football than i will ever know... but that fake strikes me as a really odd call.
"I can't say that. I'd have to say having Ryan Leaf quarterback us to a 1-15 record is probably the biggest challenge."

Bama D did well to hold to the FG after that massive Tebow completion.

I'm surprised Meyer didn't call a timeout after the 3rd down stop. If he had, he would have had a minute and 2 timeouts left to try to get into FG range.

Yeah, he's been playing it really conservatively this game. Hopefully it doesn't come back to bite us, can't waste possessions in a game like this.
