The official "Thank You FFCafe" Thread

Postby ampant » Tue Dec 09, 2008 12:02 pm

Well, I am in the semis in both my money leagues this year, and I don't think it's too early to say "Thank You" to my fellow cafe-ers for their contributions to my success. This is easily the best FF site on the planet. The thoughts, tips and advice I receive here help me to prep for the draft, avoid players, shape my team, and affect the outcome of my season more than any other resource.

This is my 4th year in one money league, and I have been champion, runner up, missed the playoffs (even though I had the highest point total in my division), and am now in the semi-finals.

I am in also in the semi-finals in my other money league (just started).

So thanks to all of you who have contributed articles and advice, who have stopped me from making bone-headed trades or starts, or who have tipped me off to a hot player before my league mates snagged him.

And good luck to all of you who are still in the running! ;-D

Yeah I agree. This year I got some advice to pick up Tyler Thigpen just as he entered his hot streak, and he powered me into the playoffs. That was a critical pickup considering my alternative was starting Brett Favre, who has been cold lately.
