Knowing spodog, he'll use this and say, "Don't worry, baby...I only went 14/15 of the way in her, I didn't really sleep with her!" :-b

points!
H2H is all luck.
Example with me and a player from my league including week 15:
Record Hero 10-5 Nemesis 8-7
Points Hero 1592.1(106.14 avg) Nemesis 1401.1(93.4 avg)
If H2H every week: Hero 10 Nemesis 5
Actual H2H record : Hero 0 Nemesis 3 (including .9 heartbreaker in the semis)

Keep It Simple. Always use total points and fractional scoring. ;-D

Our tie-breaker is 1.) Most points for 2.) Most points against
As several have pointed out, most points for determines your teams scoring potential. If you've scored more points for the year, you're more likely to score more again. And regardless of how you look at it, fantasy football is about scoring points.
Most points against determines your strength of schedule. If your opponents have scored more points against you than against the other contenders, than you've had a tougher go of it and still managed an equal record, thus you should be more deserving of the spot.

We also have other tie-breakers after these two, but those are more along the lines of flipping a virtual coin in the longshot chance that teams are still tied after the first two.
