Because we know only garbage teams win their divisions while having the #1 ranked defense

Lucky, clutch or garbage, I think we can all agree that bone crushing Ds allow teams to struggle all game and have a chance to win in the end.

Goto love the tough D both these teams have. Going to make people miserable come playoffs.

Not really surprising how this one turned out (how the game was played, not necessarily the result). Both defenses were dominant and made the plays necessary to give their offenses a chance to win the game.

But it came down to which quarterback made the plays necessary to win the game in the end. Roethlisberger did, and Flacco didn't; that's the bottom line.

Yea, seriously. 11-3 record with the toughest schedule in the NFL in 25 years and the #1 ranked defense.

But according to some, it's all just luck.

Sometimes I wish we had a rolling eyes icon here at the Cafe.

still, there was not enough evidence to turn the call from a 4th and inches to a TD...this one will be talked about for a long time. But what the heck, Big Ben did what Flacco couldn't do at the end...I smelled the Big Mo shift...stinks, but I smelled it none the less!

Sour Grapes Deluxe and lacking of class in a hard fought loss of you IMO... Feel free to hang your hat (excuse) on the refs and not your defense that let the Steelers drive 90+ yards in the final moments for the go ahead score. If you dont want to leave it up to the refs then feel free for that vaunted Defense to stop the Steelers somewhere along their full field march.... Where you gonna spot the ball.... On the 1/2 inch line? Who's to say they wouldnt of went for it regardless and you know they would have. GAME OVER!! Division crown and a 1st round bye with the #1 seed still up for grabs......
