I've got Gonzo, LT, LJ in two leagues and I'm up against Thigpen so I'm hoping for wind like they've never seen in KC. Right now I'm hearing sustained 20 mph winds with gusts of 30+. I think it will affect the QB's on deep balls and both teams are going to have to rely on the run and short passes much more. Don't forget, even in heavy wind, the short passing game is affected very little.
However, both kickers should not be started in any event.
Wind is the biggest challenge for a QB. The refs do a good job of keeping game balls dry between plays and it depends how hard it rains. We KNOW that the winds will be 20-30 MPH sustained with gusts over 40.
QB - Rodgers, Palmer RB - Mendenhall, Ridley, A. Brown, D. Thomas, Vereen WR - Nicks, Cobb, Lloyd, Broyles, Hankerson, Hixon TE - Hernandez, Olsen K - Hanson D - Cowboys

Well, that helps then. Thigpen has the better matchup, but I own him in one leage and am playing against him in another. Or i could play Shawn Hill @ MIA.
It's time to put down the crack-pipe and step away from the keyboard.
You only use weather as a tiebreaker in deciding who you start. I wouldn't change who you were starting unless you have two very equal options with the other playing in better conditions.
