Did you get value for Turner?

When you dumped Michael Turner for fear of his schedule in the second half of the season... did you get value for him? I was going to trade for him, and got scared off by the schedule. Turner is a STUD. Definite first round pick next season--probably top 5. Sometimes it's hard to guess this stuff. But his bad week was an "okay week." And week 12 he had that Ronnie Brown "Drop 4 TDs on you HA!" game. That's horrific to see, knowing I could have gotten him... had to be brutal if you traded him away.

I kept Turner and it's been truly rewarding except I didn't start him this week for Berrian in my ppr league. He is a beast especially with Ryan comfortable in the pocket...I think this week he caught the most passes he has in a while! Just wonder how he'll do against the Vikes in Minny....hmmmmmmm He is a STUD though!

I was trying to move Turner around week 7 or 8 for fear of this playoff schedule, and no one would take him for the same reason. That worked out really well. Ronnie Brown, unfortunately I kept.

I remember when everyone said if you didn't trade him for Addai you were pretty much stupid back in the first month of the season I kept him in the only dynasty league I own him and he's been rock solid, sometimes people are afraid of the unknown but I didn't see any point in jumping off ship from a guy who was getting 30 carries a game, all the goal line touches, on an offense that moves the ball pretty well with a rookie QB who will rely on the run.


Hopefully he has the same type of productivity next year, I'm monitoring his carries but even if I traded him straight up there aren't many more backs I would prefer right now.

That's what I was kind of thinking. People were hitting the panic button, and many couldn't trade him. Some did, and I have to think that it could have EASILY been the difference between playoffs and "out" considering some of the performances of other backs. I'm glad I didn't trade for Ronnie Brown. Drafted him in one league, and tried desperately to get him for the others... but failed. Failure pays. Just got knocked out on the second round of the playoffs in one league, and made the championship game in 2 others. Ironically, one of those leagues was an autodraft, and the autodraft hooked me up with Tom Brady, Plaxico, Braylon, and another whole bucket of failure... lucky waiver wire work, and 2 good trades saved my butt.

Anyway, Turner looks for all the world like the REAL DEAL.

i traded him for LT... talk about feeling like an idiot! but i still managed to make it to the championship... Ironically im playing the guy i traded him to! He rode him straight to the championship game! wish me luck!

In the 1 league I drafted Turner in (4th round), I traded him for Addai - after being eliminated by the guy I traded Turner to last week - w/ Addai riding the pine - I feel like an idiot.

Just got the 6pts I needed from Westy. Pending any phony stat corrections that Yahoo may come up with Wednesday morning, I slipped into the championship 115-114 over an inferior team. Thank goodness I wasn't a victim to his ridiculous matchups.

I managed to get Drew Brees for him in one league. I'd say I got good value, despitealready having Warner as it's a keeper league with scoring that favours QBs. Plus, I already had Westbrook, Chris Johnson and Thomas Jones as it was so I felt the risk was worth it. I've since moved Warner on for Draft Picks.

The one other league I have Turner in is a dynasty so I decided to keep hold of him.
