I think bakeries should be free to make or not make any cakes they want as they see fit.

Interesting bit of trivia - the real Adolph Hitler's closest living relatives reside in nearby New York, but they long ago stopped using the surname Hitler, having changed it to the more English sounding Stuart-Houston. Nope, I've only seen first name or nickname on any cake. Never a full name. Certainly not a middle name.

A girl here in the office mentioned this story yesterday but said the article she was reading (I didn't read the article) said they did it because no one else in the world would have that name. I suggested that there are probably quite a few Adolfs and possibly even Adolf Hitlers in Germany since both are fairly common names there if I'm not mistaken. Then I see this thread and it's obvious now that they're just racist idiots who thought it was clever or whatever.

To name your child anything that would draw incredible attention to it is irresponsible and selfish in my opinion. Only do it if you really want your kid to hate you.
