There we have it. You actually were a good team with a bad record. I was just the opposite. I had a good record with a bad team, and it showed against the big boys once the playoffs started. Its all about the matchups.
So personally, 12 team leagues should have no more than 6 with no consolation, and a 10 team league should have 4 with consolation.
