a few playoff football leagues

I've set up 3 leagues at MFL .......

League #70460 .... a contest type league with limited waiver moves every week, cost $20

League #78441 .... a league with a live draft (next Tues. 9 pm est). No trades or Waiver moves, cost $15

League #62465 .... a league with a live draft (next Thur. 9 pm est, maybe I can catch a few of you guys with a hangover, lol). This league will have 4 IDPs per team!! No trades or Waiver moves, cost $25

How will the pots be divided up?

league #70460 ($20) .....1st---70%, 2nd---15%, 3rd----10%, 4th----10%

league #78441 ($15) .....1st-$100, 2nd--$45, 3rd---$25, 4th---$15

league #62465 ($25) .....1st--$200, 2nd--$75, 3rd ---$25

you can go to myfantasyleague.com and enter the league #'s. If you click the tab at the top of the page labeled "reports" , you will find the league scoring, rules and payouts. On the league with the IDPs, I have bumped up the scoring for the defensive players, which should push some defensive guys higher in the draft and thus push some offensive guys down a round or two. I think that draft could be really fun.

Are these "head to head" or "total points" leagues? I'm pretty interested in the Thursday draft. The only thing holding me back from saying "sign me up" is the "no waiver moves" rule. I understand having the "no trade" rule to help avoid any scam artisits but i would like to have access to waivers. Any chance that you might re-consider allowing waivers?

These are total points leagues. When looking at the talent pool for the draft...there's apprx. 100 offensive players worth drafting. That would be 8 offensive guys per team. Then you draft 4 defensive guys. That leaves 2 rounds (24 players)to be clever and find those difference makers. There shouldn't be much left on the waivers.

League 78441 has 1 opening..it will draft January 1st at 6 pm est.

League 62465 has 1 opening...it will draft January 1st at 9 pm est.

If you are still looking for a smaller playoff league to enjoy, I still have openings in league #70460. It's a contest type league, where everybody starts out with 9 players in their starting lineup. After the Wildcard games are over, every owner will get 6 roster moves to prepare a lineup for the Divisional Playoff round. After the Divisional Playoff games are finished, Each owner will only get 4 roster moves for the Championship games. After the Championship games, each owner will only get 2 roster moves for the Superbowl game. All points scored in the Superbowl are doubled.

This is a smaller league, right now we have 11 teams. So you are not going against thousands or hundreds.....just a few of us self proclaimed football gurus.....lol All money is paid out to the top 4.
