Lions amazing D let Wynn run 73 yds down the sideline, untouched. Pardon me if you've heard this one before: He sets a career mark for his longest TD run. Let me say that of all things Wynn may be, he is not fast nor elusive.
Lions inept coaching leads to a timeout called on a 4 and 1 QB sneak play. Duh. Get the first down then throw a INT. Pack in control early.

Okay, looks like I have the place to myself. See if this sounds familiar. Lions give up TD pass to a TE. check.
Rookie TE what's his face catches his first career TD. check.
Lions down 14-0 in the 1st quarter. check.

Absolute idiot announcers driving me crazy with all their early game praising of the character of NimRod Marinelli. But they don't say boo about why his D is so awful and his team so unprepared to play. Sorry, wrong place for my Lions venting.

I don't know what is funnier. That Packers safety Al Harris got a personal foul for pushing Lions RT Gosdar Cherilus.
That Harris pushed Cherilus flat onto his William Clay Ford. No that doesn't work, flat on his backside.
Or that Eddie Pipes stock has fallen so far that he is reffing a Lions game. Oh Hocholli, whatever became of your career.

ThTis is what I wish the people who aren't ardent Lions fans would understand-just how little respect teams give the Lions and how it makes them look more competitive than they are. For example, first Packer series this game they drive to the 30-40ish and stall. Rather than punt into the wind and pin the Lions, they go for it on 4th down. No luck. Now they run another sweep for 7 yards easy and it is 3rd and 3. They try a deep pass and punt. These are the types of play calling that makes the game closer than they really are, helps explain why nobody has posted 50 on this pathetic D.
