This is in today's Philadelphia Daily News. Pretty funny:

You would think it would be difficult to find more than a handful of negative fans in Minnesota. The Vikings, after all, defeated the Giants yesterday to go 10-6 and clinch the NFC North. And yet, a cursory glance at the Web site's comments section revealed the following glass-is-half-empty observations. The names of the posters have been withheld to protect the innocent and gramatically challenged.

* "TJ [Vikings quarterback Tarvaris Jackson] will be proven for the fraud he is."

* " . . . Prepare to see yet another sinking of a leaky Viking sailing ship, one and done."

* "I don't see the Vikings doing well at all in the playoffs. They barely beat a team of subs [the Giants]."

* "You all do realize that Philly will, most likely, play many of their starters most, if not all, of the game next week, right?"

They did, but those quotes are referring to how the Vikings barely beat a bunch of subs for the Giants. And how Philly plays at Minnesota in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

Sorry dude. But this quality stuff comes out of the mouths of Vikings fans.

I just thought it was a pretty funny article and interesting that the Vikings fans were giving up before the game even starts. We may bash our own team, but it is usually for lack of hustle, lack of emotion, or lack of effort - sometimes for gross incompetence, like McNabb consistantly throwing the ball in the dirt to a RB in the flat. But we usually wait until during the game or after the game. Not before.

Either way, I'll try to raise the quality of my posts so I can bring you back into my fold of dedicated readers.
