PITTSBURGH (AP) -- The Pittsburgh Steelers played the NFL's toughest schedule this season. They may play one of the league's weakest schedules in 2009.
The Steelers' 2009 schedule was firmed up Sunday after Miami (11-5) won the AFC East over New England (11-5) because of tiebreakers. If the Patriots had won the division, the Steelers would have played at New England for the third consecutive season in 2009.
The Steelers will play only three winning-record teams at home next season: Baltimore, Minnesota and Tennessee. Also visiting Pittsburgh will be AFC North rivals Cincinnati and Cleveland, plus Oakland, San Diego and Green Bay.
On the road, the Steelers will play their three division opponents, plus Denver, Kansas City, Chicago, Detroit and Miami.
Looking a lot better than last year's.... My predictions for 09. Home: Baltimore- Win Minnesota- Win Tennessee- Loss Cincinnati- Win Cleveland- Win Oakland- Win San Diego- Win Green Bay- Win

I'll take either record. I said W's vs San Diego (we always play them tough) and G.B. took a step backwards this year, I like Rodgers but they have a long way to go.....
My prediction is 13 and 3. We continue mastery over our division, we have Baltimore's number. I believe we win 7 home games. It really comes down to how the schedule breaks, to give a better picture. Our road schedule is not that tough, however the Steelers will play down to their opponents level on occasion, maybe once or twice next year. WE WON A SUPER BOWL WITH ONE DECENT O LINEMAN. THAT IS AMAZING. If we get Ben and the backs a better line, we could have a shot at 15-1, or maybe to go....................

Yeesh, tough start there. 0-2 wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. I still think that the Titans were one less careless turnover against Baltimore from winning the Super Bowl last year, and if they can get an above average starter to replace Haynesworth, they'll still be an excellent team next year. And Chicago's acquisition of Cutler makes them the favorites in the NFC North IMHO.
After that, the only major speed bumps I see right now are Baltimore and Miami. But throw in another random road loss, and I still don't see the Steelers going worse than 12-4 again.
Kudos to Leber for the amazing sig and to Metroid for the userbar and making them both fit 2008 and 2009 Defunct Dynasty League Champion

I'm not concerned about the 'speed bump' in Miami because it's the last game of the year - I'm willing to bet that it ends up being a meaningless game.
I would have chalked up the Broncos Monday night game as a loss with Cutler at QB, but no longer with Orton / Simms at QB.
The Chargers home game could be the only reason this team doesn't go 13-3, methinks.
