My wife is from Northern Minnesota, but moved to Florida when she was 13. As a kid she was definitely outside a lot as was I when I lived in Connecticut. I think it's probably just younger people that are more inclined to get out and about in cold weather than older people. Looking at the number of older people that relocate to warmer climates kind of reinforces this. Either way, it's just a guess. I could be wrong.

You put your foot in your mouth so many times it's not even funny anymore, man. Are you choosing to ignore the waves upon waves upon waves of illiterate European immigrants these two centuries past? How are they any different than Hispanics? Today the descendents of those Europeans are our leaders - the Kennedys, the Bushs, the Rockefellers, the Knapps... the list is too long to put here. But because TODAY we have illiterate Mexicans coming in, we have to kick them out?

I know you're a kid, but you really, really need to wise up.

I realize this is/was the case, and I never denied it or disagreed with anything you've mentioned. However I don't like how the Mexican immigration problem is being handled, we don't do enough to control it.

In reality it's not Mexicans/Hispanics, whomever, it's the way the American people handle the situation. I believe that when they immigrate here, they should learn our language, not the other way around. I believe they should have to become citizens, and if they don't we kick 'em out, or at the very least, don't spend our money educating them, etc.

Yes, we do rock, don't we?

Maybe it has something to do with the sophistication of their sports fans? :^

I just got back from Rochester, MN. What a great place. Last time I was in Minneapolis (years ago), it impressed me that the people were the nicest folks and this time was no different.

You could do worse. ;-)

And people wonder why my general outlook on the intelligence of the country is that there are too many idiots out there. Four Texas cities in the bottom ten and I live in one of them? So cut me some slack when I say the world is full of morons because that's what I'm exposed to at every turn. :-b

Now see, that just makes too much sense to ever actually work. O:-)
