Signs of the impending apocalypse:

- A 9-7 or 9-6-1 team will make the Super Bowl this year (you could just say a 9-7 team because a tie to Cincy probably should count as a loss).

- Peyton Manning won MVP and lost in the first round.

- Philadelphia for once isn't calling for Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb to be lynched.

- The Arizona Cardinals are hosting the NFC Championship game.
