The Ultimate PBC: Steelers vs Ravens, Part III

Postby steelerfan513 » Sun Jan 11, 2009 8:27 pm

Here we go again... again. Apparently two losses isn't enough for Baltimore; they want more. :-D

But seriously, talk about a match up for the ages. Touchdowns will be hard to come by, but big hits and emotions certainly won't. Two of the NFL's fiercest rivals meet for a third time, and for the ultimate prize: a Super Bowl berth. Can the Ravens mimic the 2005-2006 Steelers and beat the top three seeds in the AFC en route to the Super Bowl? Or will the Steelers beat their division rival for a third time and go to their second Super Bowl in four years?

Could we ask for a better game? ;-D

Personally, I didn't want to play Baltimore again.. but I am pumped to play them (and beat them) again.

This week will be filled with Ray Lewis talking crap, talk about Hines Ward's "cheap" hits, and the Holmes TD.

Let's see how many rat bird fans man up this week.

winning all 3 games against an opponent in one year almost never happens... odds are severely against it. Personally, I could care less... but despite the Steelers being at home and the favorite... it's not a good scenario for them.

I personally think that this game will define Tomlin. Cowher is still known by his failures in the AFC Championships when the Steelers were the home team. This game on Sunday will help define Mike Tomlin's legacy as Steelers Head Coach.

with a game so big...i think we should have higher consequences than just a paperbag.

im issuing a challenge to all of you.

losers wear a sig of the winners team until the super bowl. if the ravens win, you guys wear a ravens sig, if the steelers win, ill wear a steelers sig. i can make the sigs myself, and will put whatever you want it to say on it. i personally think you guys would look good with a rayray sig...but im sure you would like it about as much as i would enjoy anything steelers :-b .

so...who is going to man up? if you guys are too scared to do this, ill understand. ;-) !+)

BTW...the PBC can also be in effect...so the loser would have to wear the bag for the standard week, and the sig until the superbowl.

If the steelers lose, you should make them do the Ray Lewis pre-game dance and video it. Then post it here.

That would rock! :-b

I'm game for the sig challenge, but I have no idea what we could do for it.

If you really don't have any ideas, you could just make them use your Big Ben sig.
