MJD for Fitz?

Postby LJ_Rocks_KC » Mon Jan 26, 2009 2:18 pm

Standard scoring
plus .5 ppr

I have been offered MJD for Fitzgerald.

#1 Here is my team as is:
Steven Jackson
Darren McFadden - can acquire for cheap if I don't trade Fitz
Larry Fitzgerald
Brandon Marshall

#2 If I make the trade:
Steven Jackson
Maurice Jones-Drew
Brandon Marshall
Eddie Royal
plus a 3rd round pick

Which team would you feel the best about going into the 2009 season?

Team 2 is better but riskier. HAving 2 Wr on the same team is never advisable. I would look to deal Royal and your 3rd for a differnt WR.

Agreed. I'm not totally opposed to teammates -- I used Marshall and Royal together heavily this year. But I had other options to use if Denver's matchup wasn't favorable.

I like Team 2 better and I think MJD is worth more than Fitz so I'd make the trade... ;-D

Nice sell high. When MJD is a beast next year you'll understand why. I still think that stud WRs are the key now to winning championships, but the fact of the matter is I like team two better. Not much difference in Marshall and Fitz and gaining a 2nd RB keeper is nice.

See if you can just trade Royal straight up for another WR keeper if a team is hurting at WR. It would help you. Go after another young WR like Desean Jackson if he's being kept. Any Jackson (Vincent) or even Dwayne Bowe (try to sell on KC's mess).
