It's ok. Ward has a legit shot at getting at least a chance at a starting gig this year. Hixon should be the #3 at the least in NY making him have some fantasy relevance. Arrington has little fantasy relevance but Charles has potential. With LJ having the issues he has I would like to have Charles on my roster in a dynasty league.

I probably wouldn't ahve made the deal but it isn't a bad one.

I agree that Charles is the one player I hated trading the most. The one thing that I felt was good about letting him go is that he was continuously plagued by his coaches that he could not handle a full load. However, those coaches are not there any longer and he may get more of a shot. Only time will tell.

I don't think the loss of Hixon at WR hurts you, and while Charles has potential who knows what's going to happen in KC the next couple years. With Ward you get a guy who is getting probably 40% of the carries in NY and gets receptions. Basically you traded bench guys with potential for a guy that will produce pretty consistently. I think it was a decent trade.

It's not an awful deal, but I wouldn't have done it. Hixon has some potential, especially if Plax dosen't come back. I also like the potential of Charles. I personally don't see LJ coming back to KC. The new coach and GM will want to rid themselves of high priced players with poor attitudes. This would be a golden opprotnity for Charles to grab the starting job. This trade will be great if Ward signs with another team, but his value is very limited in NY. Charles and Hixon have much greater upside than Ward IMO.

I think alot depends on where Ward ends up this coming season and if he can stay healthy. I don't see any of the three that you gave away doing much and Ward has a tremendous upside as long as he ends up in the right situation this coming season. I like the deal for you. GOod luck.

Uck giving up Charles a mistake. However, who did you pick up with the free spots? Or do you have extra room to take on young players.
