I am in the middle of acquiring Tony Romo, and another owner in my league has expressed a desire to trade McNabb. If I could do an even swap, who would you prefer in a dynasty league? Knee jerk reaction says romo, but I already have witten and am working on getting Barber. Plus Dallas just scares me with all the crap that's going on down there.
Even with all the crap going on in big D it is Romo. Age and supporting cast are the main reasons. I don't think either will ever win a Superbowl but Romo should be a top 10 QB for 6-8 more years.
I'm a big McNabb supporter, but I'd still easily take Romo over him in FF. Romo is an elite QB on a very high-powered offense, and he's younger. Plus, we don't even know how much longer McNabb will be in PHI. Too much risk there to rank anywhere close to Romo IMO. I'd go for the Romo trade...

That's about what I figured, but it's nice to have other people agree with you . If this guy is real desperate, and considering I also have Warner which means McNabb might end up as my QB2, what else would it take to make trading Romo a good deal for me? Here are some of his more interesting players:
S. Holmes A. Boldin A. Gonzalez M. Jenkins A. Haynesworth Shawne Merriman
I personally think Gonzalez is poised for a breakout season. Would Romo for McNabb/Gonzo be in my best interest? Just to be clear, I'm not saying I must get rid of Romo or get McNabb (even though I AM an Eagles fan), but I'd like to contemplate the ifs in order to make the most improvement possible.
I hate cheaters but would go with Romo, and I like McNabb a lot. The problem in dallas is TO might leave. I think that hurts his value some. I think they will go hard after Boldin if TO leaves and that won't hurt him one bit in fact it would help me. I also expect better outta ROYE.
Romo's an average Qb but an above average fantasy QB. Mcnabb is an above average QB, but average fantasy QB. clear as mud?
take Romo, trade Barber if you've got too many 'Boys. his value is fairly high, but Felix will split alot more time next year. Whitten will be good again, and maybe even better if To leaves.
I just received an offer from the McNabb owner. He wants to send me McNabb, Boldin, and either Julius Jones, Clifton Smith, Justin Fargas or Fred Taylor in return for my Romo, Camarillo, and either Portis, Barber, or Lendale White. Of those three White is the obvious choice.
Is this a good deal for me, and if so which RB should I take?
