Dynasty trade

Postby TruNinerFan » Fri Jan 30, 2009 9:24 am

I am looking to acquire Gore in my non PPR dynasty league. Do you think Portis and the #9 rookie pick this year for Gore is a good offer? He is the kind of guy that if you send a low ball offer, he tends to break off trade talks immediatley. Is this a good start?

I would certainly consider it. Portis and Gore are pretty even and then tossing in the #9 makes it a legit offer.

Well I think alot would depend on what his needs are also, and if he knows that you are a 49ers fan he may drive a harder bargin with that also. I would definetly like to see both rosters, but think this is a fair offer.
p.s.
I love that the Niners hired Singeltary, hope that they finally turn things around.

Check mine out, I also added a comment down bottom.

I don't think there's anything wrong with that offer.
12-team PPR, start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1 flex (RB/WR/TE), 1D/ST
Unlimited keepers, but more than 6 cost draft picks, starting w 1st Rnd

Rodgers
MJD, CJ1K, McFadden
Jennings, LFitz, VJax, Wallace
Finley

Yeah I think it is a good starting point. I don't know if I would want to give up a whole lot more than that though, if I were you.

I believe I'd stick with Portis for one more year if it costed me a first round pick. You can always try though.

He declined the offer. He is going to try and get a boat load from me because I am a Niner fan. But, I am not going to over pay for an injury prone RB.
