Dynasty Rebuilding

Ok, last year I sold off most my team for draft picks this year. Thoughout the past season I have been picking up players who I hope will help me get better alot faster. So here is my roster:

QB
Warner
Palmer
Cassel
Thigpen

RB
MJD
Lynch
McFadden
Ward
F. Jackson
M. Bush
R. Rice
Torain
Lumpkin

WR
Fitz
Jennings
Welker
Moore
Breaston
Avery
Camarillo
B. Johnson
Floyd
Bradley
Morgan

TE
Cooley

Ok that is my roster but due to selling my team off last year I have alot of picks
1.1
1.3
1.4
1.7
2.1

Ok now where should I look to get stronger, In the draft if I keep the picks I will either get 2 of the 3. Moreno/Wells/Crabtree
Any suggestions on trades would be a big help, just want to get better.

That roster is not bad looking to me. But I would say you might want to upgrade your RB's though. GBG ;-D

Well i think you've got a great team as you have a nice RB and WR crew. You might have a bit oF trouble with your QBs unless Cassel is given the starting gig iF Brady sits out the entire season again. Status oF Warner and Palmer are still questionable but anyway, Thigpen might be a decent QB sleeper. You have a lot oF First round piCks so i think you're headed to a strong Finish this 2009 season. Btw, you need to get another TE.

With those first 3 picks you could probably get the big 3 at Rb if the other guy takes Crabtree which would be a huge boost to your team, but with pick 1.04 if Crabtree is there i'd think of moving down during the draft, somebody may want to over pay for him...I think your pretty set though, I'd draft 4 straight Rb's early on and with 2.01 you should probably get the 3rd WR off the board and maybe 2nd because Maclin may still be there, taking those Rb's early will get you more trade bait with some of your other backs like Ward.

Your sitting in an good position though, your roster is good enough to compete and you have alot of picks, if you asked me I'd say you wouldn't have to trade anything now, just scout properly and try to grab the most talented backs, then if Ward goes to a good spot I'd probably try to move him for an upgrade, maybe package Ward and Lance Moore for a stud WR like Bowe, and I love your depth with Breaston, Avery, and Morgan, all 3 have very bright futures.

you "sold off" your team for picks?

holy crap.

I'd definitely get the 3 best RBs available, and then grab Pettigrew with the 1.7 or 2.1

you're absolutely set at WR, and I don't see any QBs worth taking. Warner should help keep your head above water and I think Palmer will do far better than folks expect this coming season

you're looking like a solid team. Consider trading a QB+ picks to see if you can get a true stud QB, or at least one with a more guaranteed future than who you have now

At the beginning of last season I traded alot of players away here are a few of them

P Manning
Grahmn
Jones (jets)
Wayne
Plex
Housh
Slaton

those are only a few that I traded a year ago, I had about 15 picks in the first 3 rounds and then used those picks to start getting better players back. I only have 3 players left on my team from the start of last season. I used the waiver wire alot and then traded those players to other teams, and got upgrades. I also think Palmer may come back strong but I am looking to trade some of my QB's to upgrade that position aswell.
As for the draft I think I will get 3 of these 4
Wells
Moreno
Crabtree
McCoy
Also with the 1.7 I am looking at TE or maybe another rookie RB if one ends up in a decent position.

Your team is in great shape. You are in good shape at all positions.

I would take either Wells or Moreno with the #1 pick, depending on who drafts them.

With the third pick, take whoever is left from Wells, Moreno or Crabtree

With the 4th pick, I am leaning towards Donald Brown for UCONN. I would also consider McCoy. Once againm it depends on who drafts them.

I would grab Maclin with the 7th pick,if he is still there. If not, go for Stafford.
