Keeper Question?

Postby rsharvil » Mon Feb 02, 2009 2:36 pm

In league where you can keep one player from previous year. Need to pick between Michael Turner or Brian Westbrook. Heart tells me to stick with Westy but mind tells me go with Turner. Thanks for help.

When do you have to make a decision? If possible, wait until after the draft. Kiper has Beanie Wells going to PHI in his early draft projections... if something like that were to come true, it may make your decision easier....

Can you trade one of your players for a draft pick? It's possible/probable that either one would be a better option than what an owner is contemplating keeping from their own squad.

Well I think you know the answer here. I do like Westy and think he is a top rb, but he is getting older, is always banged up and Philly may have some changes coming this offseason. I do see the expectations to be greated in Atl this coming year, but they have a decent offense and Turner should put up good numbers again this coming year. I would keep Turner. Good luck.

I'd keep Turner here as well. Westy is older and has a more documented injury history... ;-D

Yet another vote for Turner.
12-team PPR, start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1 flex (RB/WR/TE), 1D/ST
Unlimited keepers, but more than 6 cost draft picks, starting w 1st Rnd

Rodgers
MJD, CJ1K, McFadden
Jennings, LFitz, VJax, Wallace
Finley

Keep Turner. I expect him to pick up where he left off last year. As Matt Ryan gets better Turner will have even more room to run because the defense will have to respect the pass. Westbrook will be 30 when the season starts, that is the dreaded age for Rb's. He is a stud when he plays, but he always misses games due to injury.
