I appreciate any and all opinions!
I like it, people are going to say what they want about Roy because this is a "what have you done for me lately league" but reports are already picking up steam that TO is a goner, which makes Roy the #1 WR in a high powered offense and we know he has 1300/10 potential..Now as soon as TO gets released his value is going to go up even higher automatically, and he signed a new deal so he's going to be in big D for awhile.
Even if you consider Addai and Barber a wash, I don't think Bess has anywhere near the potential of Roy Williams, Roy's value might be low this off-season and people will act like he sucks but in a year you would gladly take him over Bess.
I don't see why you wouldn't take this personally, if the colts draft another Rb at worst Addai is in a RBBC just like Barber, both were knicked up last year, and both are RB1's when healthy, I definately think the risk is worth it to gain a future #1 WR in a high powered offense.

I'd pass. I think the downgrade from Barber to Addai is significant, and DAL takes too big of a cap hit to release TO this year, so I think he rides it out with them for one more year. As the #3 option in DAL, I think Roy's upside is limted, and he has an injury history to consider as well. I'd stick it out with Barber here and maybe try to deal for Roy later in the year...

This is a tough one because I have my pros and cons about all players included.
ADDAI - Dungy was admittedly upset with Addai's performance this season according to the Tribune Star and Addai would have been on a short leash next season. However, with Caldwell taking the reigns nobody knows if Addai will get a longer or shorter leash than Dungy. Addai is a VERY difficult commodity to value right now.
WILLIAMS - I am completely with LS2 on this one. If there is ever going to be a time to buy low with Roy, now would be it. Everyone knows that midseason trades rarely work out as it is. With an offseason with Romo and the potential loss of Owens, Roy Williams is my leading candidate for Comeback Player of the Year in 2009. He likely costed you a lot -- don't give up on him just yet.
BARBER - As many rumblings as there have been about Addai's future in Indy, there have been just as many about Tashard Choice and Felix Jones' roles in Dallas. He just signed a 7-year contract in the offseason so don't expect anything drastic in Dallas, but know that there are quality backs out there who will eat into Barber's touches (albeit not goal-line ones)
BESS - What you see is what you get. It looks as though he's the favorite to get the WR2 job in Miami ahead of Camarillo, but Ted Ginn is the only value-ridden WR in teal. If Pennington goes down to injury and Henne takes over, then what? I suppose the new formula could merit success, but it's a big risk.
Overall, I would say that you're giving up a lot of potential. When it comes down to it, I don't see how this trade improves your team so I would probably hold tight. However, looking at it objectively, I would give the slight edge to the team acquiring Addai and Roy Williams so if you feel like rolling the dice, now would be a legit time to do so.
Granted it's PPR, but I think the downgrade from Barber to Addai is too big to risk. Regardless of who is sharing carries in Dallas, if Barber is healthy he will get the TDs.
