Another Dynasty Trade - I get MEGATRON!

Postby Snave » Fri Feb 27, 2009 9:19 pm

Alright so I was pretty happy with my last trade (Leon Washington for Fred Jackson) and I offered the following:
Eddie Royal
Thomas Jones
Mark Clayton

I received:
Calvin Johnson
Tyler Thigpen
Brandon Jackson (I own R. Grant)

So my starting lineup is now:
Aaron Rodgers
Marshawn Lynch
Ryan Grant
Calvin Johnson
Brandon Marshall
Wes Welker
John Carlson
Ravens
Mason Crosby

Bench
LeRon McClain
Jeremy Shockey
Joe Flacco
Jets
Michael Jenkins
Torry Holt
Fred Jackson
Brandon Jackson
Tyler Thigpen

So what are my needs?

Is this really a question? Take this trade and run, now!!! You are really trading Royal for Calvin, T.Jones has maybe one more decent year left in him, but I don't see him putting up the numbers he did this past year and well Clayton is Clayton. Go accept this trade quick before he comes to his senses.

Oh I took the trade immediately! I just want to bask in some trading glory. ;-D
So do you see any glaring needs that I should address?

Well you've backed up your RBs... now what happens when GB and BUF are on their bye weeks? I agree that your last trade was great value, but you left a hole at RB3.

I would look at trading some combo of Holt/Shockey/Flacco/rookie picks to secure a legit RB3. There has to be a few owners that would trade for Holt or Shockey based on name.

Great trade. Any trade to get Johnson is great! But...you need RBs. I am not a Grant believer. You need to work to package some of your bench players and maybe one of your starting WRs. Your RB problems: Lynch - could get suspended, Grant - sucks.

You could probably even throw Grant in on a trade. Try to get someone on the cheap...maybe a Benson, Fargas, M. Bush or Bukhalter (those guys probably won't take too much) or stash away Torain if he comes back. That could help boost your RB corps. Watch the AZ situation as well.
