Just a little bump here before I turn in my keepers....any last thoughts? Here arr my keepr choice (max 3), and the pick it will cost me. I'm drafting @ the turn in a 10-teamer (10/11 overall). We cannot keep 1st round picks, so MJD would be this year only.
MJD - 1st F. Gore - 2nd B. Jacobs - 3rd R. White - 6th G. Jennings - 8th
Right now, I'm leaning MJD, Jacobs and Jennings (then grabbing a Top 10 WR with my 2nd round/11th overall pick).
I like MJD over Gore. To be honest, I like Jennings in the 8th and White in the 6th. You'll still have the 11th pick in the draft and be able to go RB and you'd already have a RB1 and a WR1 and WR1a.

I agree! I would also keep MJD and take White and Jennings. You will be able to nab a nice RB2 with the 11th pick and have a solid core to build around while still having your round 2 - 5 picks!

My issue with this idea is that if I'm (very) lucky, I'd get C. Portis with the 11th overall pick. If not, I'm looking at R. Brown/P. Thomas type of guy. Remember it's a keeper league, and people are hoarding RBs.
If I keep MJD, Jacobs and Jennings, I would likey get R. White/S. Smith at #11.

i would rather have MJD, Thomas, Jennings, White and a 3rd than MJD, Jacobs, Jennings, White and a 6th...

I definitely see where you are coming from. This league tends to overvalue RBs in the early rounds, mainly because so many of the top RBs are kept. On the flip side, WRs are often undervalued early on b/c owners are scrambling to get their RBs.
From a pure value standpoint, your thoughts make more sense. But considering the fact that RBs are treated like rare diamonds in our draft, I'm a little uncomfortable with trying to run a tandem @ my RB2 spot with a Thomas and then maybe needing to overpay for a Parker/LJ/McFadden guy who has some risk.
I'm definitely going to have to give this some thought. My initial thoughts were to keep Jennings, Jacobs and then one of MJD/Gore. Now that I'm set on MJD, I'm trying to decide between Jacobs and White. My head might explode before I tuin in my keepers!!! Too much pressure!!
In the mocks I have done......seeing lots of value at RB later in the draft with this year WR are real thin.........
Getting Addai and LJ in the 5/6 round Benson in the 8th/9th (really like him this year) F Jackson in the 9th 10th(a least the first 3 games will be solid) Mendenhall in the 10th - 12th.....really like him....especially in this format..........
