Derick Ward Signs with Tampa Bay

Ward signs with Tampa Bay. What does this doe for his value in fantasy? He will have Graham and C. Williams to contend with. What are some predictions for his numbers 1200 yards rushing, 8TD's. Tell me what you think

With Caddy's injuries I can see him getting cut, possibly resigning for a lower number, but I don't see Caddy there in 09'. I can see Tampa having Ward as the main rb and Graham being the backup and almost splitting time with him. I can see Ward getting about 1200 yards and 7 tds.

Rumor is that Caddy is on his way out. I see a split also....anywhere from a 70/30 to a safe 60/40 split. Ward should get the larger # of carries but Graham may get more goaline looks. You may see Graham in more Fullback sets also. This will be interesting to see, I am afraid that Ward may have lost some value here.

In my opinion i see Derrick Ward having a pretty good year in Tampa Bay. he was paid starters money, although not huge money, but enough that Tampa has all the intentions on using him. Yes, he will lose some goaline carries to Graham but he always has the potential to break 20, 30, 40 yard runs. I am predicting 1300 yards and about 10 tds barring injury. Ward is 28 years old but does not have alot of miles on him which is also a huge bonus. I dont see a Micheal Turner season but definatly strong RB2 numbers.

My league consists of 8 teams. We keep all players every year. Team rosters cannot exceed 28 players excluding defense. Every year we have a 3 round entry draft with the bottom 4 teams being in a lottery for the 1st overall pick.We start 2 qbs, 3rbs, 3 wrs, 2tes and 1 d. Basic point system..1 point 25 yards qb..1 point 10 yards rb/wr/te rush or recieving. 6 points for all tds run/throw/catch...minus 2 for int/fum.. At the end of the year each team draws a player from a hat and that player becomes a free agent and is put into a silent auction. My team consists of the following:
manning-romo-warner-shaubb-kitna
andre johnson-edwards-clayton-owens-marshall-jennings
peterson-parker-stewart-taylor-benson-julious jones-graham-micheal bush
danials-winslow-witten
baltimore-chicago.

The league is entering its 5th year, i won it in 2008.

I like Ward in TB....they have no qb....so the running game will be as important as ever...
I agree 1200 or so and 6/8 is not out of the question.....Fairlry solid RB2 IMHO
