Postby danielgreen091 » Sun Mar 08, 2009 2:20 pm

12 team .5 PPR dynasty

We start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, RB/WR/TE, TE, K, DEF

My roster
QB's
T. Romo
M. Schaub

RB's
W. McGahee
J. Lewis
J. Stewart
D. McFadden
F. Jones

WR's
B. Marshall
R. Moss
A. Boldin
P. Crayton
J. Porter

TE's
O. Daniels
J. Shockey

K
Bironas

DEF
Eagles

My Rookie Draft Picks
1.3
1.11
2.3
2.6
2.9
3.3
4.3

His Roster
Brees, Campbell
M. Bush, J. Jones, Gore, Maroney, Turner, Washington
Bowe, Burress, Moore, Desean Jackson, Curtis, R. Williams, Ward
Gates, Bennett

Draft Picks
1.05

He has made two offers

1.05 for my Moss and 2.03

1.05 for my 1.11 2.03 2.06

Should I take either one of these? Or what counter should I offer? I have plenty of draft picks, so should I keep what I have and add depth and maybe grab a sleeper or two or try and swing a trade to fill any holes in my roster?

Both those trades are very bad value for you.

I agree with the Captain.

The 1.5 spot is much higher value than those later picks. I would stay put.

No, he would GET the 1.05 pick in exchange for those later picks.

I think this is just bad for you all the way around. I would stick with what you have.

It's really tough to say because it really depends on your other owners' team needs. I think your best bet is to shop Romo around if anyone with a nice stable of RBs need QB help. Schaub should do just fine as a starter each week, and while Jones, McFadden, and Stewart offer TERRIFIC longterm potential, none of them are weekly starters at this point. While I would normally advocate for keeping your 1.3 pick, I would maybe dangle it out and see what you get -- but make it clear you want a RB1 in return.
