Should I trade Romo or Schaub and Gates in Dynasty

I'm in a 12 team dynasty league. I have an offer to trade Romo or Schaub and Gates for 3 picks (1.4, 1.9, 2.4 - Rookie Draft), Matt Cassel and Tony Scheffler. If I were to trade, I'm leaning towards trading Schaub, even though he had 5 games at 40+ and Romo had 6 games over 30+. I'd appreciate any feedback on this. Thanks.

Wow, what a offer. I think alot of this would depend on the rest of your roster, what you would need and if you can compete. If you can compete and have a shot at winning it would be tough to trade away Gates production with rookies, so if you have a legit shot at winning the whole thing I may have a hard time doing this deal.
However this is a dynsasty league and you constantly need to look to the future. So you can add three first round rookie picks and I'm assuming your first round rookie pick. So that would give you 5 of the top 16 picks in this draft. You can really add some great depth and young talent to your roster, not to mention he is adding Cassell still leaving you with a quality starting qb to go with Romo/Schaub. So with this being a dynasty league I think I would have to do this deal and look to trade up for a top 2 pick, or keep all of these picks and totally rebuild your roster. Good luck.

I agree.....in fact, don't hesitate a minute more.......trade Schaub (over Romo) because he can't make it intack through an entire season........

Damn, I'm still on the fence on this. I'll definitely get a pretty good hit on the TE position and lose a starting 1A QB...but it should help me to reload for the next few years. Any feedback you guys can give will be helpful. Thanks.

My opinion is pull the trigger....Gates is on the way down....so the biggest loss is a talent in decline.....I would roll....and watch the TE out of Oklahoma St. with that many first round picks, you can invest in a TE easy.....I think they adjust faster than the WR's
