Dynasty Trade

Postby dblj9911 » Mon Mar 09, 2009 2:41 pm

I'm in a 10team dynasty league and my most glaring weakness is at qb and need a upgrade on my roster. It is a standard scoring, 6pt all td's, 0.5 ppr, 1 pt per 10yrd rus/rec, 1 pt per 30 yrd passing. I do not have a first round draft pick in the rookie / FA draft, lost that in a in season trade. So now that Cassel is gone and Brady is back and supposed to be on track I'm looking to trade for him. The Brady owner also has Cutler and wants to move Brady, but he is still pissed at me for a trade from before last season of Maroney for Calvin, so may be a little tough with this deal. So I was going to offer DeAngelo Williams for his Brady and his 1.3 pick. Any thoughts? WHIR
MY ROSTER: start 1 qb, 2 rb, 3wr, 1 te, 1 k, 2 idp

QB - Palmer, Eli, Orton
WR- Fitz, Calvin, Colston, Hixon, Sydney Rice
RB- Peterson, DeAngelo, R.Bush, LJ, Ronnie Brown, C.Taylor, M. Bush
TE- Dallas Clark, O.Daniels
K- Longwel
IDP -Wilis, Ryans, Morrison, Beason
Brady owner needs wr / rb youth and depth.

It's too steep. You won't get the 1.03 out of him as well. I would deal Deangelo for Brady and maybe his 2nd. You are staked at RB and can afford to deal DWill.

I would try and trade Bush or Brown for Brady first with no picks. Deangelo is going to go in the top 6 or so in most drafts so his value is extremely high right now. The question is can he continue to dominate at the same pace as he did last year? I don't think so personally. I think JStew becomes a bigger part each of the next 2 years. So dealing him now is not bad value.

I doubt he gives the 1:3 either as Bungle said but I think Brady and a 2nd is too little for what you can get for Deangelo right now.
