With Taylor out of the picture, all signs point towards it being MJD's time to shine. I doubt he'll get 25 carries per game on a regular basis (it's a lot more than it seems, virtually no one gets that many anymore), but he should get quite a few more than he has. Also, he's always been heavily involved in the passing game and short yardage, so he's not only a 2 down RB.
Considering he has been a top 10 RB while sharing, it makes sense that he should be ranked higher with Taylor gone. Even if he continues to share with someone, chances are they won't be as talented as Taylor was. I have him right around #5, but #3 isn't out of the question IMO.

What HB said.
They are also negotiating to sign him to top 10 (if not top 5) RB money, you don't do that for a RBBC.
Jacksonville will find someone to come in and get some touches. Either some free agent still available or maybe someone in the draft. I look for MJD though to get a majority of the work load. He isn't going to be a 25 carry a game back, but he will be a 20 touches a game guy. And there is no way they will replace him in short yardage.
Nobody outside of Kansas City gets 25 touches a game. That would be 400 carries. Even twenty handoffs per game is near the top of the league. If you're including receptions, however, I think 25 "touches" is definitely doable for MJD on any given week.

I agree the one RB is a dying thing in the NFL. All teams are doing a RBBC and the ones who are not will be. It's a monkee see monkee do league. And seeing what teams like the Panthers and Giants did last year most teams will try to install this in there offense.

Yes RBBC is the way of the NFL and yes Jacksonville will find someone to share the load with MJD and yes his value is high. Jacksonville is not happy with the QB play they received last year, invested alot at WR and got little in return and play in a division with Indy (great offense)Houston (much improved offense) and Ten(under Collins less turn overs then Young) so MJD will get a good bit of the carries as they will try to control the ball.
