Anyone been to a Great Wolf Lodge?

There is one opening up in NC and it looks pretty cool - kid's cabins to sleep in and an indoor water park. Any reviews would be appreciated.

I have not been to one (but we are planning a trip there maybe next year). I do have some friends that have gone and said it is great

We've been and it's a damn good time. The indoor waterpark is, of course, really cool and the fact that you can go anytime of year (we went in November) is nice. The room was a little small for my liking, but the kid thought it was neat because he had his own little "cabin" within the room.

I never even heard of Great Wolf Lodges before seeing this thread - I see we even have one up here in Canada. Look like cool places to go, I know my 6 year old son would love it - may have to check it out some day! If anyone else hasn't heard of it, here's a link:

Went to a GWL for a day trip at the one in the Poconos in the Philly area. Nice arcade, cool waterpark on the indoors. Seemed like a nice place. This is over 4 years ago, so hope it didn't change much, but it was fun that I can remember.

Another place that I have not been to, but received great reviews from some of my friends was Kalahari
