Grand Canyon

Pretty stoked...

I have been to 20 countries but have never seen the Grand Canyon. That said, me and the fam are visiting my folks in Havasu for spring break. But first, we'll take a detour and see this wonder of the world for the first time tomorrow.

Anybody been? Is there any 'must do' that doesn't cost an arm and leg? Flying to Vegas tonight and staying in Williams so tomorrow morning we'll only be an hour away.

Can't wait!

Stop in Sedona, Arizona (90 minutes away) if you can or if it's on the way. A few years ago, USA Today named it the most beautiful city in America and it is. So much so, I'm thinking about retiring there. It's unbelievably gorgeous with the red rock formations.

Saturday - Dinner at the Bellagio
Sunday - Grand Canyon, and it was spectacular!
Monday - Golfed at dad's snooty course.
Today - Boating on Lake Havasu.
Tomorrow - More golf on said snooty course.
Thursday - Back home from quick spring break trip.

Grand Canyon was phenomenal when I visited two summers ago. We ended up taking helicopter over the Canyon and that was great. Probably one of the best things I've ever experienced.

I've never been to the Grand Canyon, but I kind of saw something like it once. I was digging a hole in my backyard for some posts, and I stopped for a second for a sip of beer, and as I sipped I glanced down at the hole I was digging.

So I've pretty much seen it.
