I'm in a 10 team dynasty league and have a very solid team, but my one glaring weakness is at qb. It is a standard scoring league, 6pt all tds, 1 pt per 10 yrd rec / rush, 0.5 ppr. So I was just reading on ESPN and Palmer said that he is 100%, so do I stick with him, Eli and Orton or do I look to make a move? One owner has Cutler and Brady and another one has Peyton and they both would be willing to make some moves. Here is my roster below. Palmer story link.
I don't think you should be worried about Palmer. He's still in a passing offense, he has a starting WR trio of Ocho-Coles-Henry, and the Bengals aren't that great -- meaning they will HAVE to pass in lots of games.
If I could get Brady for a reasonable price, I'd have to consider that. To be truthful I'm unsure about Cutler (still worry about him going to sad-sack Lions).
It always depends on the price. If you could trade Palmer & a pick or another player to upgrade to Brady or Manning, that's something. But I wouldn't sell the farm to get another QB. It's not outrageous to think Palmer could be a top-7 QB in Fantasy in '09.

I think that's sound advice. If you can get a decent deal for another team's backup QB, then pull the trigger. But I think you can cobble together a starting QB out of what you have. Eli doesn't put up huge numbers but can start in a pinch. Orton did put up some decent numbers in spots last year... and Palmer is your high-upside guy.
In other words, don't sell the farm just to get a "premium" QB.
You have tremendous RB depth and I would have no issues dealing 1 of your QB's and a RB to get elite. You might as well. Cutler is an idiot but should be a solid fantasy option for years. Brady is Brady when healthy. I would look at moving LJ (tough sell) R. Bush or DWill along with a QB.
I have been in the same boat for essentially 5 years in a dynasty. Have rode with Ben, Eli, Penny, Favre and a myriad of others. Have made what I thought to be great offers to get one of the big boys to make my team a no brainer. No dice but I would still do it and plan on making offers for Brady and Rodgers this year.
I would look for some depth. I am not an Eli or Orton believer. If you can move one of your RBs to get a nice QB I would do so in a heartbeat! Palmer should be solid. Coles will be a good dump off reciever with Johnson this year and they have some nice young guys who could step up.
Well now with the big trade just going down, is qb looking a little better for me with Orton now going into the same system that has made Brady and Cassell top's fantasy qb's? Any thoughts on Ortons value now that he actually has wr that he can throw to?

Given the Orton-Cutler trade, I wouldn't do anything. Palmer/Orton/Eli (maybe in that order) is a good, at worst serviceable, trio.
I would try and make a move if you can. Eli doesnt excite me, and who knows how the bengels will be even if palmer is healthy. I know this sounds crazy, but hold on to Orton especially now that he is in denver, and actually has some good recivers to throw to. I had to use him a couple of time last year as an injury replacement and he actually did good for me, and that was in chicago. My brother has Orton in our keeper league and he laughed at me when I told him to hold on to him and see if he wins the job in denver.
you have a very very solid squad. In fact IMO you could use another solid RB behind DWill and AP2. Brown is good and I've always liked him but LJ and Bush (can you honestly trust them?)
If this were my team I wouldn't even keep Caddy with my good RB depth. Cut him.
Post ww QBs and WRs. You could use a prospect WR/solid WR to give you some depth after your big 3.
Post ww kickers too (Longwell garbage). I have a couple of sleeper kickers pegged.
