Felix for 1.05?

Postby danielgreen091 » Mon Apr 06, 2009 8:28 am

He is offering 1.05 for Felix Jones. I think that Felix is a litte more valuable than that, but I could use the 1.05 to move up and get another top 3 pick? Would that make the trade worth it?

I would hold onto to Felix. I would do it for a top 3 pick, but not #5.

Well you have the 1.3 pick this year and are going to get either Knowshon, Beanie or Crabtree on your team. Right now I think that Crabtree is going to be the best out of the three, but with the two rb's alot will depend on who drafts them to what there current value would be. I would stick with what you have unless he up's his offer to you.

I'd sit tight, Felix is worth more then that to me, he looked very good as a rookie and his role will increase, looking at your RB's I like Stewart and Felix the most going forward...I'd much rather try and move McFadden for that pick then Felix honestly, but see what McGahee can get you.

In rookie drafts I think the RB's that go from picks 6-10 will be better then the ones in the first half, so if you can get a 1.8 for McGahee or something I'd opt that way instead.

I would keep Felix. You have a top three pick and trading Felix who you know is a good back and a nice fit in Dallas who's role will only increase to grab a rookie who you are unsure as to how he will perform in the NFL. Why chance it take one of the top three rookies and keep the for sure think with Jones in Dallas.

It is proven that whoever's #2 in Dallas is valuable regardless of who is ahead of them. I think your RB core would be even shakier without him. Its not a bad deal if you had a better RB core. If you have some studs there then I would pull the trigger. A top round rookie draft pick is great, but in your case with little RBs to speak of (only prospects mostly) you have to keep what you got and grab a RB with your first pick.

You do NOT need any WRs with what you got now.

Can you pick up any FAs before the draft?

I would dump Jerry Porter and POSSIBLY Shockey for some 2nd year prospects or rebound players.

Post your ww please, if you don't mind.
