I'm a bit biased towards him because I went to Texas Tech, and had the pleasure of watching him play many times. However, bias or not he is a great WR.

I have the 2nd overall pick in a keeper league (damn near dynasty format). I drafted Forte and Hightower last year. My WRs need help. I want to draft Crabman 2nd overall without question. However, with the moves that have been made it looks to me like he's going to the Raiders. In which case, I cannot bring myself to draft him.

What are your thoughts on him? His best case scenario? I'm hoping Seattle, Cincy, Cleveland.....anyone but Oakland.

The Raiders would be a nice fit for him. They have young talent who should become good NFL'ers. If your in a dynasty league you have time to wait for them to become stars. I think JaMarcus and Crabtree would make a nice tandem as well as D-Mac at RB brings back memories of Aikman,Smith and Irvin. Given time to adjust to the pro level and the Raiders building around these three guys by adding some O lineman they soon will become a good team and get out of the cellar in the AFC West. Let's not forget that they just picked up Garcia as well.

No matter where he goes he will be a good pick for you. If he does not go 1st overall.

He won't be going to Oakland, Michael Lombardi has came out and said he can pretty much guarantee Oakland goes D line or O line in the top 10 and you can cross WR off their board, he's a very respected beat writer and he used to work inside the Raiders draft room so he knows old Al very well.

He also said Al needs a 40 time to draft a player, especially that high...It's way too early to figured out where a guy is going to go, but Crabtree to Oakland is far from a lock, Maclin and even DHB are much better fits in their offense and are more likely to be picked then Crabtree will...Oakland needs a WR who can get deep and stretch the field, to complement Russel's arm, that's not really Crabtree's game at all as he's more of a Marshall type who will work the underneath routes in a WCO and make a living running after the catch.

I'd just wait it out and see, but don't expect Oakland to take a WR until the 2nd(watch out for Ramses Barden the 6'6 WR from Cal Poly).

Well I like this WR class. Very talented. This is one I have followed closely. PM me if you want a more in-depth analysis. I do not wish to extend any too detailed b/c league mates of mine I don't want to tip my hand. I see one of them has an active top-page post on here.

I wouldn't worry too much if he does end up in Oakland- they are a young, up and coming team. Not saying they're going to become the next Pats or anything, but I expect them to be much better in another year or two. The cream usually rises to the top regardless of the situation- look at what Calvin did on the putrid Lions. His value might fluctuate slightly depending on his situation, but if he's the real deal, he'll be very good no matter where he ends up.

I would say it's going to depend on where everyone ends up if I'd take him #2 or not (if it's PPR, his value gets a nice boost obviously). If Wells and Moreno end up in very good situations, it would be hard to pass on them for the WR. If you really need a WR and don't want to risk missing out on him, take him at #2 and be happy. I traded for what became the #3 overall, and I'll gladly take whoever falls out of Wells, Moreno, or Crabtree (maybe even another RB like Brown depending on the NFL draft).
