What Trade Value has Eddie Royal in a Keeper Leauge

12 teamer / start 1QB - 2 RB - 2 WR - 1 Flex (RB / WR) - 1 TE - 1 K - 1 DEF
6 pts for all TDs - .1 pts per yard rush/rec. - .04 pts per pass / 0.5 ppr only for WR and TE

We keep 4 players, one has to be a rookie, only two players of the same position can be kept.
In May we will have a two round rookie draft (serpentine) and in August we will have a 10 round veteran draft (NFL style)
I draft on 1.02 and 2.11 in the rookie draft and on the 5th spot in the veteran draft (also have 3.11 but no pick in the 4th)

I have Chris Johnson and Eddie Royal on my roster and will keep Johnson as my rookie keeper.
My other keepers are ADP, Calvin Johnson (got him via trade) and Aaron Rodgers (Brandon Marshall is also possible)

I got one offer:
Eddie Royal + 2.11 rookie + 6.05 veteran
for
2.07 rookie + 5.07 veteran
but I felt that this is somewhat little to get for a player who finished as WR 14 in our scoring system and he is not less talented without Cutler.

I understand the thinking behind the trade offer:
If I don't trade Royal, he will go into the pool for the veterans draft, if I trade him for the offered picks I will get at least something, but I feel a bit uneasy to move Royal for so little.

What do you guys think can I get for Royal (remember it is a keeper league, not dynasty)?

You are right, poor offer for Royal. While he takes a knock wiht no Cutler throwing to him he is still worth more than moving up a total of 14 spots in the 2nd and 6th rounds. Get at least one more upgrade thrown in.

The most WRs that can be kept is 24 - if everyone keeps 2. Most likely not all teams are going to keep 2 WRs. You are looking at 15-20 being kept, just a guess and Royal would be at the low end of that list. I don't think you are going to get much more than what was offered to you already, unless someone is in real trouble with keepers. I would make the trade ;-D

I would agree, if not one of the keepers had to be a rookie.
Royal has been the best rookie WR and was rookie #6 behind Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Matt Forte, Chris Johnson, and Chris Slaton, therefore I would rate his value a bit higher.

But prolly you're right and that is the best I could get...

Yes you don't get much for him, but it's better than nothing, which is what you'll get if you just drop him.... he's not even a consideration for a keeper for you.

FWIW, I would keep Marshall over Rodgers.....

Make the trade (something for nothing).
AP-2
Chris Johnson (ROOK)
Marshall
CJ-2

These are your 4 keepers, no more no less. That's a nice core to build around. You have two of the best WRs in the game, and two explosive RBs. This is nice.
